Have you got lots of beautiful Christmas paper left over from your celebrations? These DIY gift bags are easy to make and the perfect personalised touch for your next gift.
Plus, they're a fun project for the kids to get crafty with over the school holidays.
What you will need:
- Wrapping Paper (of any size)
- Sticky tape
- Hole Punch
Roll out your wrapping paper and fold the right and left sides until they meet in the middle and overlap. Sticky tape the seam.
Fold the wrapping paper up to create the bottom of the bag.
Separate the two pieces of wrapping paper and flatten out the corners to create a diamond shape (like above).
Fold the top and bottom corners in towards the middle of the diamond and tape in place.
Open your bag and fold it over to the back side to seal it shut. Use a hole punch to punch holes and thread through the ribbon of your choice.
There you have it! The perfect DIY project to impress your loved ones. These gift bags are even a fun idea for kids lolly bags or as a little extra something special at your next dinner party.
